At ABC Carpet & Home, we take pride in the craftsmanship and value of our products. We maintain a tradition of standing behind our highly curated selection, which traces back to the first carpet our founder sold in 1897. However, it’s important that our customers have final say on personal satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will work to find you the perfect replacement or facilitate a return.
Non-Furniture: You can return non-furniture items within 7 days of receipt for a full refund. After 7 days, non-furniture returns will be refunded in online store credit for the value of the merchandise. Unfortunately, we cannot accept items for return after 21 days.
Furniture: To return furniture items, please contact Online Customer Service within 48 hours of receipt. We are happy to refund your purchase in the original form of payment, but please note a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund. Furniture refused because it does not fit through an entryway will be refunded in online store credit or exchanged for merchandise. Please request a fit survey to help you determine if a piece of furniture is the right size for your home before you place an order.
International Orders: International order returns vary by country of destination. For more information, please contact Online Customer Service.
In-Store: For the quickest turnaround, we encourage you to mail your return. If you prefer to return your item in-store, please contact Online Customer Service and we will walk you through the process. Unfortunately, we cannot accept in-store furniture returns at this time. All purchases made in our Manhattan or Brooklyn stores must be returned to the same location where they were initially purchased. Online orders may be returned only to the Manhattan store.
Gifts & Gift Certificates: Gifts can be returned for online store credit only, within the time frames and conditions outlined above. Gift certificates are non-returnable.
Custom Orders: Custom orders are non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable, with the exception of manufacturer defects or damages. You will have 48 hours from the time a custom order is placed to cancel it. After 48 hours, the order is considered a final sale and cannot be refunded.
Damaged Items: Please note that all items must be returned in showroom condition. We will gladly accept the return of any merchandise that may have been damaged during shipping. Should you discover a defect in your order, please contact Online Customer Service. We will provide you with an authorized pre-paid shipping label and issue a full refund.
Final Sale & Clearance Items: Unfortunately the following items are non-returnable: clearance, sale, and discounted items, mattresses, box springs, bedframes, divan bases, mattress toppers, comforters, pillow inserts, bedding, swimwear, lingerie, and personal care products (if used or opened).

How to Return Merchandise to ABC Carpet & Home
To begin a return, please sign into your ABC Carpet & Home account to access your order history and select the item you wish to return. Upon approval of your request, you will receive return instructions via email. You will be responsible for the arrangement and cost of return shipping and delivery. However, if you received a damaged or defective item, we will supply you with a pre-paid shipping label to mail your return. Should you discover a problem with your order, please contact ABC Carpet & Home within the time frames outlined above for a resolution.
Once we receive your merchandise and confirm it is in showroom condition with original packaging and tags, we will issue your refund. Please note exchanges, credits, and refunds will be issued for the purchase price only; shipping charges are non-refundable. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state and local laws.
